A dedicated engineer will follow a project through each stage from enquiry to completion, ensuring continuous control / responsibility and giving the customer a single point of contact.
Experienced judgement and good engineering practice is always applied and we pride ourselves in maintaining close contact with our customers from concept to completion.
Our extensive experience of industrial, retail and general engineering projects, has led to the development of a pool of knowledge that we can apply to every new contract we undertake.
Future maintenance requirements are prioritised within our designs to ensure that all components can be readily maintained.
Our continued emphasis on employee training, development and value engineering allows us to keep pace with the latest design trends.
General arrangement, schematic and wiring diagrams are prepared from customer’s single line diagrams or written specifications.
Our drawing office is fully complemented with the latest computer aided design software to enable us to produce high quality drawings by trained personnel.
Installation
In addition to our standard delivery and supervision of off-loading service, Twyver Switchgear are able to provide:
- Cranage facilities
- The moving of equipment into position
- Alignment of equipment and securing in position
- Re-testing on site prior to installation of cables
We are also able to carry out the following Electrical works
- Cable routing and installation
- Lighting schemes
- Emergency lighting
- Small power distribution
- Main and Standby supply distribution
Method statements, risk assessments are provided and reviews of health & safety, environmental requirements are undertaken.
Testing & Commissioning
All products prior to leaving our factory are extensively tested for quality and performance.
This ensures safety and reliability during operation and service.
Once the installation is complete, site testing and commissioning can be carried out by our own engineers including:
Visual inspections
Insulation resistance tests
Pressure testing
Setting of protection equipment
Phase rotation checks
Our personnel are fully trained and work in accordance with current safety regulations.
